A reminder that we have a Recital Day coming up on Thursday, December 16.  We plan to have 3 different recitals that day.  

Recitals allow all students the opportunity to perform a solo of their choice for an audience.  

We are also going to present a short "mini-concert" during each recital.  We plan to have classes present something (as groups) that they have been working on during the past few weeks. Here is the schedule of recitals and participants:

9:50 AM Recital:
Piano classes
Mini-Maestros class
Drums, Flutes, & Ukuleles class
Academy Choir
All soloists from the above classes

11:30 AM Recital:
Beginner's String Orchestra
Concert & Philharmonic Orchestras
All soloists from the above classes

1:00 PM Recital:
Beginner's Band
Concert & Symphonic Bands
All soloists from the above classes

Recitals are presented at our normal location, and on normal class days.  Recitals are usually about 15 to 25 minutes in length.

All classes are also held (as usual) on Recital Days.  We simply shorten some of the classes (if necessary) in order to fit the recitals into the day.

All students are welcome to volunteer to perform a solo of their choice at the recital.  If your child would like to perform a solo on Recital Day, please send me an email stating the title of your child's selection.
